Having Fun reading dual language texts in Room 9

In Room 9, we have been learning to read book in our home language. Home Language is very precious to all of us and we feel acknowledged when we read books in our own language. We also had a go at reading other language texts we created because we have children from other cultures in our class.

    Kia ora Takahe Team,
    I really enjoyed listening to you read. What language are you using - is it Burmese? I can see Burmese written on the photo but I am not sure. I wish I could speak more than one language. I think you are very lucky to be learning more about other languages in your class and it is super special that you get to read in your home language.
